Spiritual
Carmen has turned La Cartuja into a "Monastery of the 21st Century": an oasis of
peace and tranquility, a place where today's traveller can resign from the
hectic society, a place for art, meditation and reflection. She says: "I sell
spiritual food. La Cartuja means silence and nature, and today that is worth a
lot, an awful lot."
